A correct, high-quality citation

A correct, high-quality citation must meet the following requirements:

  • Reference a reputable scientific resource. The authority of a resource is determined by its indexing in one of the scientific databases, such as the White List (EGPNI) with levels K1, K2, Scopus, or Web of Science.
  • Have a digital identifier (DOI) that allows the link to be opened online. If the DOI does not open, you can provide its URL in the original source. The main requirement is that the material must be openable online.
  • The context in which the citation is provided must correspond to and reflect the original source (and this can be verified by an external expert).
  • The resource referenced by the author must be no more than 10 years old. The use of older sources is permitted in extreme cases. Such citations cannot constitute more than 10% of all sources.
  • An online resource may be cited as a source, but in this case, it must be registered as a scientific resource and have a corresponding digital identifier.
  • An online resource with official legal or statistical information may be cited as a source.

Other requirements for the bibliography:

A research article must have at least 20 references, and a review must have at least 40 and no more than 60.

Sources must be formatted in strict accordance with the journal's requirements.
